We bought our daughter, Rachel, a set of EyeClops Night Vision goggles for her birthday and she is having all kinds of fun experimenting with them. My wife’s brother, Ryan, is in the military and he has told Rachel about how he can see at night. Rachel is now able to find out for herself with the infra-red technology made available in EyeClops Night Vision.
EyeClops Night Vision has a knob on the right side that can be turned on to provide an LED light that lets you see farther. A microscope mounted to the top of the goggles can bring objects closer for better inspection. The left eye piece lifts up so you can check out your location in “normal” light. It closes back down to envelop you in the darkness you need to take full advantage of EyeClops Night Vision technology. This toy requires five “AA” batteries to operate and Lithium batteries are recommended for longer use.
An EyeClops Night Vision review said that this toy allows you to see up to 50 feet in complete and total darkness. For anyone who is even a little afraid of the dark, EyeClops Night Vision might help to remedy that situation by taking away a little of the fear once the child is able to see in the dark.
Rachel uses the goggles in our backyard at night to see how many nighttime creatures she can find. She is very scientific about it, too. She takes a notepad and pencil and writes down all the things she sees. Sometimes she has to lift the left eye piece to make sure of what she has written. These night vision goggles have encouraged Rachel to be quite the explorer. She will look at rocks in the daytime and then look at them in the dark with the night vision goggles to see if any new elements appear with the infra-red vision.
